M.E. Maury Daubs and his wife, Barbara, are former teachers who divide their time between their home in northern Illinois and the family farm in the south.

Maury has also worked as an industrial chemist, Quality Systems Analyst, and Department of Homeland Security consultant. His career took him to the Department of Defense Schools in Europe and on travels across all 50 U.S. states and 13 European countries including historical landmarks like Normandy.
